Sanskrit Week

Each year, a Sanskrit week is held in January, at which students can spend an extended period engaging with this most enchanting and ancient language. The week caters both for beginners and those with more advanced experience of the language. This week-long event includes guest speakers from Australia and abroad.

This event has been held in Australia each year since the early 1990s, and is modeled on the very successful Sanskrit Weeks run by our sister schools in London and elsewhere.

To receive more information or request a registration form, please send your name, email address and message via the contact form to the right. (Please note that this event is currently only available to School of Philosophy members.)

The 2012 Australasian Sanskrit Week will be held in Melbourne, Australia.
