invitation to 1st and 2nd year students.

The day begins at 8.30am
and concludes at 4.00pm at the School of Philosophy, Hawthorn,
Victoria.
This day offers a unique opportunity to meet with others interested
in practical philosophy and enjoy a day of nourishment for
body, mind and soul.
You may
take part in three different workshops
drawn from an offering of 27 workshops
spanning the arts and sciences. Workshops run
for 11/4hrs. No prior knowledge or experience required.
The presenters are all fellow students of philosophy with a love of
their subject.
Fee $45 per person. Lunch and refreshments provided.
PROGRAMME
Arrival on the day is from
8.00am with the opening address commencing at 8.30am in the Erasmus
School Hall. There will be
three workshop sessions
during the day followed
by a special
presentation entitled "The
ESSENCE of Health" - presented by Dr. Craig
Hassed. A light buffet lunch
will be served in the grounds, and morning and afternoon
refreshments in the Hawthorn tearoom.

with your payment of $45 on or before Wednesday, 29 October,
2008.
